Cartoon KAT-TUN episode 120 where Jin, Junno, Nakamaru and special guest Yanagihara Kanako (who is hilarious)

This is one of my favourite Cartoon KAT-TUN episodes - I love the mushroom and the puppet show. I just generally love Cartoon KAT-TUN, I guess... Anyway, here's little Junno and Jin doing the YMCA, because that part was hilarious (Note how Jin seems to disappear).

Also, I'm gonna post up that Yukan Club review, even though it was booted off my list, because I've already written it. I think Anego may have to be placed higher, though, and another drama may replace it... :S

{only human}

[EDIT] My Top Ten Japanese Drama List has been changed.

#10 Yukan Club [Leisure Club] Anego
#9 My Boss, My Hero
#8 Nobuta wo Produce [Producing Nobuta]
#7 Kurisumasu Nante Daikirai [I Really Hate Christmas]
#6 Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge [Perfect Girl Evolution]
#5 Gokusen 2
#4 Tatta Hitotsu no Koi [My First Love]
#3 Code Blue (Doctor Heli Kinkyuu Kyuumei) [Code Blue (Doctor Heli - Emergency Lifesaving)]
#2 Ichi Rittoru no Namida [One Litre of Tears]
#1 Last Friends

So, instead of Yukan Club, which I wasn't that keen on, Anego takes it's place. I'm in the middle of watching it, now, and I'm loving it.

Also, honourable mentions go to Kurosagi (starring Horikita Maki and Yamashita Tomohisa), and the drama version of Koizora (starring Seto Koji).

So, to end this, I give you a 'Johnny's Sports Day' Jin and Kame:

Nishikido Ryo, of NEWS and Kanjani8. To tell the truth, I don't really like Kanjani8's songs, besides Naniwa Iroha Bushi (I do love their Eito outfits though. They crack me up everytime). He sings, dances, and plays guitar, too, which is an added bonus.

I love Ryo's eyes. They are the most fun to draw. They're so deep, and sorrowful, even when he's smiling. I first saw Ryo in the drama 1 Litre of Tears in all it's glory, and I've been a fan ever since. I remember watching the drama, and saying to myself, 'right, there better be a good looking guy in this. Turn around, turn around....yes!' Then I searched his name in good ol' Google Images, and up he popped, singing away with his guitar; posing awkwardly for some photoshoot; half-naked; wearing ridiculous outfits that reminded me of The Power Rangers and being tackled by six other men wearing similar clothes.

His portrayal of Sousuke in Last Friends is absolutely incredible, and I genuinely think that he's become my favourite actor. I cannot wait to see his new movie, and I look forward to seeing more of his amazing works in the future. I love how completely dedicated this man is to his work, and his fans - he has two bands, one in Osaka and one in Tokyo, and travels back and forth between the two for work. On top of that he has filming, and the poor guy should be exhausted, but he doesn't show it. Everything he does, he tries his hardest, and I think a lot of us could learn from him.

'No matter how much we try to regret, we cannot rewind yesterday,
And in that same way the world is waiting for tomorrow.'

{at the end of a dream}

Based off: (credit: asianfanatics.com)

Ueda again. So, I'm awaiting KAT-TUN's new single very impatiently. Actually, I don't really like the new song, 'Going!', but rather love the B-sides, 'FALL DOWN' and 'SMILE' (well... I like the previews that Kase by Kase and R-ONE KAT-TUN have given us). Also, we've bought our KAT-TUN tickets, so woot!

I don't have all that much to say today~

"Just accept this crime, this punishment
And - I want your love, I want your hate
Embrace this love, this ego
And everything - I want your love, I want your hate
Because we can't turn back now, Rhodesia."

{believe}

As I have mentioned before, my friend over at http://thebennetsisters.wordpress.com is awesome. She's posted up a bunch of reviews (all Jane Austen related), which has inspired me to write my own, for no real reason!

So! Here are my Top Ten Japanese Dramas. For now, it's just a list, but I shall update with actual reviews at a later stage.

#10 Yukan Club [Leisure Club]
#9 My Boss, My Hero
#8 Nobuta wo Produce [Producing Nobuta]
#7 Kurisumasu Nante Daikirai [I Really Hate Christmas]
#6 Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge [Perfect Girl Evolution]
#5 Gokusen 2
#4 Tatta Hitotsu no Koi [My First Love]
#3 Code Blue (Doctor Heli Kinkyuu Kyuumei) [Code Blue (Doctor Heli - Emergency Lifesaving)]
#2 Ichi Rittoru no Namida [One Litre of Tears]
#1 Last Friends

This is by no means a list that everyone should abide by. It's simply a list of my favourite Japanese dramas, and it is designed to perhaps help others if they're suddenly stuck on what to watch. I did this for a bit of fun, and that is all.

And just 'cause I can, here's an extra piece of fanart:

It's another tengu, like that other one of Ueda's, but this time it's Jin~ (yes, I drew all of those spirally things on his cloak thing. I did the same with the Ueda one. Took me forever, but I like the way it turned out.)

{one day, one dream}

So, my friend is amazing and has her own blog, http://thebennetsisters.wordpress.com, which focuses on all that is Pride and Prejudice, and Jane Austen. She's set up a blogging challenge, which challenges us all to do something Pride and Prejudice related, but it has to stay on-theme. I took a while to figure out what my theme was - my thought was that it was JE related - but then I suppose that it's more art-focused. I don't know. Anyway, enough of my confusing rambling (I'm kind of distracted due to Tweeting like mad - we're trying to get #iloveJE into the trending topics), and onto the art!

I didn't colour it, but it's not from lack of trying. My Wacom tablet threw a tantrum halfway through colouring, the bastard.

I failed. :'(

"Stand against the reality of sadness
Within your heart, a hero waits to emerge
The memory of the dream that came to me last night
Fills me up with hope that I can go on."

{shalala tambourine}

Based off: (credits: asianfanatics.net)

And it's Kato Shigeaki from NEWS. His adorable fail was too much to resist. Shige's my favourite in NEWS - probably because we're quite similar. He has an invisible cat called Wagahai, because he's allergic to cats, but his best friend has one. He writes some of his Jweb entries in the view of Wagahai. 'Kato Shigeaki did so and so today' etc. Also, he just received his degree in law - congratulations, Shige! These photos are offshoots from the NEWS calendar. He took the photos behind him himself, and painted over the top of them. I don't know why. Just because he could, I suppose. Also, it wasn't a very smart idea to wear white, Shige.

'Shalala lalala, I will sing for you, the one I love
Shalala lalala, I will embrace you, gently, tightly, forever
Shalala lalala, I will sing for you, the one I love
Shalala lalala, I'll sing out until the tambourine breaks
Until the tambourine breaks.'

{romanticist leader}

Based off: (credits: unknown)

So this time we have Yamashita "Yamapi" Tomohisa (*gasp* not from KAT-TUN?! The horror!). He's from another JE band, called NEWS. This was from their music video, Koi no ABO, or Love's ABO, which I find hilarious. I mean...look at that hair! (also, notice Koyama in the background).

I'm going to Japan in June, and I bought my TegoMasu concert tickets the other day. *cue fangirl squeals of happiness* Just waiting to see if I can bag myself some KAT-TUN tickets, and I'll be all good~

Now, relevant song lyrics!

"Hey! A
Believer of formalities
Hey! B
A 'my pace' leader
You'll think that fortunes that tell your affinity are wrong
You'll just take it as it is, won't you?

Hey! O
Romanticist leader
AB
Tsundere Producer
Everyone have things that they're good at
and things that they're bad at, right?"

{special happiness}

Based off this picture: (credits: asianfanatics.net)

Talent? I think? I don't really know what he's trying to do, but he's very happy about it. I don't have anything amazingly insightful to say today, curses. Go check out my Livejournal (link on the side of the page) for more drawings - those are more life-like.

As always, I have no affiliation with Johnny's Entertainment, KAT-TUN, or anything like that. Massive collective sigh.

"You try to be strong, but you look at me with the eyes of a child
I'll wrap you up, accepting everything, including your tears
I'm unreliable, but I love you more than anyone
Even the littlest things are a special happiness."

Translation of 'Special Happiness' by KAT-TUN's Taguchi Junnosuke and Kamenashi Kazuya.

Translation credits go to jpopasia.com and it's general awesome.

{my things are mine (what, for real?), and your things are mine, too}

Based of this pic: (credits: asianfanatics.net)

Le gasp! Two updates in one day?! I'm amazing! So! Here's little Ueda as a Tengu (a Japanese devil/monster thing), from their Queen of Pirates tour...good times, good times.

"We're becoming devils
Our noses are growing
We're getting caught up in it

We're becoming devils
No matter who cautions us. Ha? Ha?"

Translation of 'TEN-G' by KAT-TUN

[Translation from J-Pop Asia]

I really feel like drawing something serious right now - I want to try to challenge myself; try and do something realistic. I mean, I've done a bunch of semi-realistic sketches (see my LiveJournal), but I want to do something that's gonna make me proud of myself for doing it. Eventually, eventually...

Also, I have a few reviews coming~! I was inspired by one of my friends, who does amazing reviews, and so I decided upon my Top 10 J-dramas and wrote about that. Cause I can. And it's strangely fun. [I shall link to her blog when I post up my reviews.]

{the town of dancing flowers}

Based off this: (credit: unknown - if this is yours, please tell me and I'll credit you~)

This is the poster for the stage play, 'Romeo and Juliet'. Ueda Tatsuya as Romeo, in his first acting role (besides random commercials and 'Scary Sunday' when he was, like, fourteen or so), and Kobayashi Ryoko as Juliet. News recently said that the two are dating, and I imploded from the sheer cuteness. So I drew this straight away, because I'm ridiculously happy about the two of them.

"The petals that sing in the spring breeze, wrap up you and me
The warmth of these fingers that can’t be parted, even if they will be torn off...

The words you said to me that day “you are just like spring”
And “thanks for giving me back my colours.”

Since all the things you feel are exactly how I feel,
When I understand it, all the anxiety will fade away.

If I close my eyes, I remember those moments when we needed no deceits
The colour of our own future, was just like that blue sky

...

In this city where flowers dance, where we met for the first time, let’s walk side by side, facing it
Let’s bask in the spring sun and let’s laugh together
That dream, forever..."

'Hana no Mau Machi by' Ueda Tatsuya [inspired by Romeo and Juliet]

{dictator}

Based off this (credits to asianfanatics.net):

Now we have little Ueda swinging away like Tarzan. Actually, this was for his solo show, "Mouse Peace" (it's meant to sound like 'mouth piece'). During one of the parts where he wasn't singing, he leapt up a rope all the way to the roof (with no harness). There was another part where he climbed up a piece of fabric to the roof, twisted his arm and foot around it and kind of fell down to the floor. Oh, how I wish I could have been there...(ignoring the fact that my mother doesn't believe he can sing >.<)

I tried a different style with this one, what'd you think? I also had a hard time colouring in his body - I felt like a pervert whilst doing that. Note the fact that I had no trouble drawing it or staring at the actual picture whilst drawing it.

I don't think these ramblings make sense anymore.

"You can’t run,
Even you can’t hide,
I know you will come to the place of plastic kingdom.
You can’t run,
Even you can’t hide,
I am king of desire of the love…
(and you are) addicted to the love."

{i want to see you, i want to see you, that is all i wish for}

Based off this picture: (I can't remember where I got it from)

Today it's a tribute to Ueda's amazing song, "Love in Snow". It's a beautiful song, and it's definately one of his best (besides "Ai no Hana").

"Will this painful road to return continue forever?
The crack in my heart is filled up with snow
In the scenery I've always been used to seeing,
You are all that's there,
Visible in the city I've never looked at before."

{ai no hana}

This one's of my favourite member, Ueda Tatsuya [I do not own, know, or have any connections with any member of KAT-TUN, or Johnny's Entertainment.]. I suppose he's my favourite because he's so mysterious, and he's gone through so many changes throughout his life. We, as fans, have seen this firsthand, and it's amazing to think that someone initially so shy, turned into the black-haired man who never smiled, and then into the copper-haired man who has the most radiant smile. He writes beautiful, heart-wrenching songs, and so I believe portraying him sitting there, with a guitar, suits him.

[I do not own this pose.]

{For the little lost souls}

The first of what I hope to be many of my little Johnny's Entertainment characters, this one being Akanishi Jin. I promise that this will be the end of the whole 'support Jin' thing. Really.

{Akanishi Jin, I wish you well}

Akanishi Jin, of the JE band KAT-TUN. News recently stated that he is to have a solo concert in LA during April, whilst the rest of KAT-TUN are having their first Asia tour. Feedback from fans has been mixed. We're sad that we're losing Akanishi again to America (the first time he left for six months because he wanted to learn English), but at the same time, we're happy that he's finally achieving what he wants. He has never been one to just sit back and let his life be shaped for him; he takes control of his own destiny.

I salute you, Akanishi Jin, for being able to make such a difficult decision. I panic when I have to decide about anything, let alone such a massive change. You have my respect.

"Nothing could have stopped this,
my cup's not full...
So I ask, will you bless me please
Expanding my territories..."

'A Page' by Akanishi Jin

I am in no way affiliated with KAT-TUN or it's members. I am just a fan.
